I was discussing the meditation I practice with a friend today and how it has a fee. Because it helps with every aspect of life, and because so many people struggle with different things in life, whenever I try to mention the idea of meditation, people are excited. But then their face changes when they hear about how much it costs.
Then off they go to a psychiatrist who charges them $150 for an hour and prescribes them with the next quick fix to pollute their body and mind….
Not gonna lie, it makes me sad…. I *know* it will help them because the structure of the human mind is universal. Everyone has their own individual minds, yes, but the overarching structure is the same. We all have emotions, we all think thoughts, we all carry the past, and project into the future – all in varying degrees, but the structure is the same.
Meditation is not just about sitting and breathing, forcing the mind to be calm, listening to sounds and gongs and whatever else – none of that stuff really interests me (sorry to those who it does!). What interests me is TAKING CONTROL OF MY OWN BLOODY MIND!
If I say I want to have a lot of money, I should be able to do it, right? But I couldn’t! And how many of us out there talk the talk, but don’t walk the walk? The vast, vast majority.
The mind is just a tool, like your hands – you can use it to help you, or it can use you to destroy you. I wanted to master my mind – after all it’s with me 24 bloody 7, till the day I die.
By reflecting on my attitude and thoughts towards money, and then letting them go from my mind, I’ve been able to transform my relationship to money completely. By changing my mindset towards money, and having an open and grateful mind and heart, so much money has been attracted into my life, and always at the right time.
The universe provides everything. I just take action, have faith, and the Universe does the rest. It’s pretty damn awesome. And you know what? It just flows into my life.
I spent years never being able to breach $3,000, to then at one point having a net worth of over $1,000,000 in the space of 3 years. Now, this is a process, and even that amount was something I didn’t know how to handle or what to do with.
And honestly, it’s not that amount at the moment, and I am getting some help, but there’s a reason even for that I’ll go into in the future. But I know it’s possible. I know it can be done. And I know it’s only a matter of time before I eclipse even that!
The return on investment has been 1,000 fold - nay, 1,000,000 fold! If only people knew what they were getting....
So I ask you, what are you willing to invest in yourself?
