Hey, I guess this is a part of being humbled?
I've recently gone on instagram to say how many trading algorithims I'm running on demo.
I've now gone back and coded it to do a more thorough back test, but there's limits to what I can code.
With that said, I've seen some big mistakes from my manual backtesting - things that really change the entire outcome from very positive, to only barely positive.
It's a bit of a blow because I wanted to move on, but now it's almost like it's back to the drawing board!
Really knocked the wind out of my sails, not gonna lie, it's humbling AF
Definitely a wave of negativity. Definitely didn't want to write this. Definitely wanted to give up. On everything.
But you know what that means?
Accept it and keep moving.
